tennisfanfederer
Hi I am interested in going to medical school in France or Switzerland (1st choice). I am fluent in French and thought it would be a great idea to go overseas and gain a valuable life experience. how practical is my whim?
AMmd
I know that it is very difficult to gain admission in France (and that is for the residents themselves), so I think you might have a better shot here.... I am not sure about Switzerland... somebody could comment on that
blinknoodle
I have moved your thread to the Applying to International Schools forums. I encourage you to read in its archives to learn about the practical aspects of returning for a Canadian residency as an IMG.
hippie
I don't know if France has any graduate entry program usually medicine there is for out of high school applicants and it is a very lengthy education 7+... The good side is that Quebec and France are now negociating degree recognition between them...so maybe the French MD will be equal to the QC one
