Persepolis
When you complete your OMSAS application, you have to indicated if you've applied previously to particular schools and in what year. Some people on the boards are saying that for some schools like Mac, they've applied several times (3-4+) and got in finally without having changed much on their application.. I'm wondering if anyone thinks there's a link? Does a school have access to the information regarding number of attempts and do they perhaps look favourably on someone who has applied multiple times as someone who is 'dedicated' to becoming a physician? (of course, I realize that when you apply 3-4 times that means that 3-4 years has passed and you've probably gained more volunteer opportunities or work experience or what have you...but still...) Just a thought...
