capitalcity
I'm planning to apply for med this summer and was wondering when the ref letters have to make it to OMSAS. I can't find the link anyone but I believe there's just a rough deadline. When should I ask for a letter? Before the summer or after? Thanks
Julie
OMSAS usually publishes the date in their document. I think when I applied they didn't accept any letters before August 1rst or something like that... They definitely don't have to get there before the rest of the application, unless something significant changed.
The Law
I believe that in this cycle the rough deadline is October 1st. I asked a couple of my LOR writers in August, and another in September. I know for sure that all of them sent them in before I submitted (on the day before applications were due). capitalcity
Thanks Law. I believe 1 month is standard but doesn't that put the profs in a rush? School's starting and everyone wants LORs
