tooth_fairy
I was wondering if anyone knows of someone who got into a dental school by transferring their CDA interview scores from one school to the one they got admitted to. I know the schools say they accept scores, but I'm just wondering if you get penalized when you don't show up personally.
coolwater
No penalty, since all CDA based interviews are standardized. I suggest you go to the school and check it out; it'll be worth it.
Guest vert
Hey, there is definitely no penalty for transferring. I know someone from Ontario who applied to U of T and U of Saskatchewan and didn't want to take the time to fly to Sask. during exams, so they had their U of T interview scores forwarded. This person got into both schools and is graduating from U of T this year. Good luck!
Adversary
When I was applying to dental school, I transferred my CDA interview scores from UBC to UWO and got into UWO without ever setting foot in London beforehand so not to worry at all. It is an advantage especially when you know you did well - saves money and time.
wishywish82
I went to all of my interviews at every school. I didn't want to take a chance of having a bad experience at once school and it coming back on me. I figured that plus if I was serious enough about the school to considering attending etc I should at the very least visit it in person.
