I wrote in November and asked for a new bar after I noticed a sizable fissure along one end. I've heard some people pin their carving woes on a bad soap before so I was wondering who ever bothered to ask for a new one before the timer got going. The first one I received had this crack that made it look like a huge chunk would come off if you put any pressure on it. The second peice I got was way better. The second peice I got was way better. I had the same thing happen. As some of you may already know, the replacement soaps are limited and hence are distributed on a first come, first serve basis. I was fortunately among the first to ask for a replacement soap, and some poor dude got my brittle bar for his carving! My second soap was perfect, so it certainly helps to ask.
