Orchid
hey all just wondering if there are some songs that you guys used to get pumped, before a game, MCAT, med school interview... lol. my faves: - eminem: lose yourself - fort minor: high road
Jochi1543
"Lose Yourself" is good, I use it for boxing, but I don't think I'd ever use it for a med interview or something; workouts only. "Still Ballin'" by 2Pac is another song like that.

0T6
lose yourself was my undergrad pre-exam pumpup track (also helped not overhearing people repeating glycolysis intermediates outloud to themselves) biggie, diddy, busta - victory, that's a classic right now? "get buck in here" is this week's flavour
Asclepius
right now? "get buck in here" is this week's flavour I don't know why, but that song brings back good memories. haven't heard it in a while.
gogopogo
I've always had a soft spot for "Harder Batter Faster Stronger" by Daft Punk. If I could have a theme song, that's what I'd want. Other than that, my tastes are somewhat more diverse: Myxomatosis - Radiohead Cable Car(Over My Head) - The Fray No Self Control - Peter Gabriel Bombs Over Baghdad - Outkast pretty well anything by Dragonforce (They're nuts... Through the Fire and the Flames in Guitar Hero 3 anyone???) Depends on the mindset you're going for (Zen Monk or Warrior)

quebecrunner
The first part of a long run: The loneliness of a long distance runner - Iron maiden If there's a hill on that course: run to the hill - Iron maiden! The second part: Liszt transcript for piano: symphonie #5 from Beethoven. Then, i try to finish the run with the last movement!!!!!!! Le paradis sur terre!!!! When studying, i prefer something smooth like Enya, Eric Satie, Piano Concerto from Beethoven even U2 and Depeche mode!!!
