Inside the Waiting Room - Support Group

The Law

Recommended Posts

Alright, so as interviews are wrapping up really soon, I figured we should have a support group until the big day(s) when offers get sent out! Feel free to share your experiences here and rant about the waiting! Only a while longer friends, and finally we can get some closure (unless, of course, we are waitlisted  ).

I've barely made it 24 hours and waiting sucks!!

I was thinking, and in the next 30 days, I have 5 written exams, 2 oral, 1 presentation, 2 big papers, 1 small paper, 4 big written assignments, 5 written quizzes, and 10 oral quizzes...

I have no time to agonize over the decisions.:( LOL.

Well I've been back for almost an hour and I'm already obsessing about how today went! Overall, I feel that I really did my best and felt that it probably couldn't have gone better so I'm just hoping for the best come May. :) MMI truly takes a WHOLE lot out of you though...I was ready for a nap the second we finished!

All the best to everyone!

Pfft, I've already been waiting for a month! Amateurs. It gets better after the first week or so, and you stop ruminating so much. At least I did. Then again, I've been incredibly busy with school-work. My next interviews are after I wrap up the semester - I'm going to have nothing but free time to think.

AGH!

Yeah. I'm not really sure now either. Now I"m overanalysing.

1) I should have said _____ in addition to my answer.

2) I should have said _____ before I said ______.

3) I shouldn't have said _____ because it lead to ______.

4) The interviewer looked at me like she/he was ______.

5) I could have said _______ instead.

I believe I may be heading down that path. Sometime soon. lmao

Does anyone think having a previous interview is more helpful or actually more detrimental to your future interview(s)?

I originally thought it would be better, i.e. I could learn from it, but now I don't even wanna prep anymore. It's like when I prep, bad memories come back again.

Is it just me, or do others feel the more they think about things, the worse they start feeling they did?!

Definitely not just you Lawie! I think that's only natural. Try to busy yourself with your insane amount of work or drink yourself to a GCS of 4/5...that's my plan anyhow ;)
