THX
I posted this in SDN and thought I'd see what my fellow Canadians had to say. I'm trying to figure out if I should play up or play down one of my ECs. You see, from age 17-19/20 I created and ran a very large video game website, it had over 150,000 registered members, 3mil+ posts and a couple hundred million hits. I'm proud of it, but I've always wavered whether to include it or not as an activity + leadership. Do you think the admission committees might think that video games are immature/childish and get the wrong idea of who I am? I know that the younger ones will understand, but anyone over 35 wont. :/ Any thoughts?
Jochi1543
I think it's cool, include it!
Icebox
That's a huge deal. Include it and absolutely make sure to discuss it's success (150k members, millions of hits etc.) & how that demonstrates your initiative and creativity.

Guest begaster
Which site?
Lactic Folly
If it worries you, just briefly mention that it was for gaming, and play up everything else that you did with the website, the skills you used, the benefits to the community.. On a related note, I considered talking about my guild leadership experiences, but decided to pass. Evidently your example is much more substantial
