Obviously they take time to complie the applicants' scores, but that should take really long because the interview scores are given during the interviw aren't they?

So why doe sit take so long? do they contact references and verifiers during this time? anyone have any knowledge on teh post-interview process.

they sit around and drink beer for a month and a half to celebrate not having to deal with any crazy premeds for a short period of time. I'd say a week of compiling the scores maybe, then 5 weeks of beer/wine/spirits/celebrations. A nice break from september to march and then again from may to june, when they have to deal with quite a few of us crazies.

oh yeah and our application fees are funding this obviously.

isnt UoT offering interviews like next week, and western still this weekend? That gives them 5 and a half weeks till may 15th...1 week just to add the scores from the interview? a week to input the gpa, mcat, interview scores into a comp? a few days to sort out the 'ties' maybe? 3 more weeks eh? a grace period of a week for appeals. some schools offer that. 2 more weeks? 1 week to prepare the packages? 1 week to figure out scholarships and send omsas who they are offering offers? Doesn't seem like they will have time to party ahahaha. I imagine their only time off would be a few weeks after the deadline, that it takes omsas to send their shat to each school.

This is for grad school supposedly (based on what a prof told us, dunno the validity), there is an admissions committee who takes all the files and then starts examining them into the "yes", "no", "maybe" piles, and spend the most time on the "maybes". Like for Queens, don't they supposedly look at the essay? Doesn't that take a while? And U of T, I would imagine it would take even longer given their holistic approach.
