Craig-oy
I was wondering if it is harder to get into medical school depending on the stream you take? Just because next year i cant take microbiology of prokaryotes, but instead im going to go the animal biology route, (second year: ecology, genetics, inverts, verts) Will it be harder to get in with a animal biology degree? A-Stark
It really doesn't matter so long as you get the minimum prerequisites out of the way.
Madz25
Do any degree you want. Do what you enjoy. It does NOT matter for med admission.
rogerroger
Again to reiterate the others... Take what you enjoy as long as you also covers those prereqs. I have friends interviewing who are getting degrees in animal phys to biophysics. There is even social science guy in there... Doing what you enjoy makes getting into med school easier because you will actually enjoy studying and working in your field of study for the next 4 or 3 yrs.
