American DAT vs Canadian DAT

Hey everyone,

I was wondering what the differences are between the American and Canadian DATs. Is it a huge difference or is it possible to do both?

the american one doesn't have carving and has organic chem and quantitative reasoning (math). it's all done on the computer and can be taken any time during the year. you can take it up to four times a year since you have to wait three months before retaking it. check out the dentistry section of http://www.studentdoctor.net and look at the DAT discussions forum.

true. however, this can be circumvented, but maybe look into it only if you need to take it a fourth time, which i'm really hoping you won't have to. good luck.
