sweet_rain
Do we need to send in the $1000 cheque for both firm and provisional acceptances? I'm thinking about doing provisional acceptance since I would still like to stay on the waitlist for other schools.
Vallinar
call the admission office.... that would be the best bet
sweet_rain
call the admission office.... that would be the best bet I emailed the admin office just now. Probably won't get the answer until tomorrow
greatgefilte
I emailed the office yesterday. You don't need to send the $1000 right away if you're accepting provisionally, but they do need to have it by June 13th, when the offers become firm. They said that if you send it to them now and you later choose to go somewhere else, they'll mail you back the cheque/money order. Ed

Just to clarify, the cheque is sent along with the response form to UWO not OMSAS right? I'm paranoid about sending the wrong stuff or missing the deadline
greatgefilte
Yes, to UWO. I'm not sure OMSAS would know what to do with it (though considering how much the applications themselves cost, I'm sure they'd find some way to spend $1000!)
