supafield
I'm curious if there are many people that received acceptances at Western that needed their current year of study to be above 3.7 If so when you received the mail was it mentioned in the acceptance package...? Thanks for any input

Thanks for any input I got conditional acceptance as well. But no mention of GPA, I just need to graduate that's all. I think you need GPA>3.7 if you only had 1yr above 3.7 for your interview. You need at least 2yrs with GPA3.7 or higher to be admitted. This is my speculation, so don't quote me on it
Vallinar
yea you only need to get a 3.7 in the current year if you only had one previous with 3.7+

Thanks for any input My letter specifically stated that my special year had to be above 3.7 in order to keep my acceptance. Honestly, I'm not sure if it will be. However, I've firmly accepted Queen's, so it doesn't matter. (I will admit, though, that my bursary from Western did more to sway my opinion than anything...) Elaine Well thanks.... I'm applying next year with one year at 3.9.... and will be needing to get 3.7 during my year of application... and I've been told they don't care if you have one year or two when assessing you but it eliminates any paranoia I may have, hearing people get conditional offers
