n00b
Does Alberta have any strict cutoffs or formulas to get interviews?
Jamer
None that they post. It changes year per year, but I imagine it's pretty similar every year.

Jamer
It also depends on your extracurricular score too. U of A considers your MCAT, GPA, and personal characteristics in determining an interview. Assuming you have average EC's, a 2/3 IP would probably need around a 3.8 and 32Q to secure an interview. The minimum GPA for consideration is a 3.7 A 4th year IP would need probably around a 3.6. I've seen people get interviews with 3.4's before, and they weren't special category applicants. The minimum GPA for consideration is a 3.3. Because U of A considers personal characteristics as well as GPA/MCAT, there's no GPA/MCAT that will absolutely secure you an interview.
