American Schools - LOE

This might be a silly question, but - How will the schools know that the people who are writing the letters are science profs? I mean, no where in the application do you mention what the professor teaches. And if the prof doesnt mention it in the letter - how will they know?

Well the professors usually say which classes they taught you in to show that you were in their class. And then they often use the fact that you were in their class and expand on it...like saying so and so came after class to ask questions and really got involved in the course material (something like that). I've never heard of a prof not saying what they taught. And often when they sign off at the bottom they have their degrees listed, so admissions would know they are science or not.

have your evaluators send them electronically. it takes a seriously long time for AADSAS to received mailed letters and the processing time is also longer. additionally, when they are electronic, some schools will download the letter via AADSAS to expedite the process.
