tyler582
Well I didn't get in and I want to re-write the MCAT to improve on the 31R that I got in the summer of 2006. Looking at last year's dates, you had to have written by Sept 2007 and not earlier than April 2004. So is it reasonable to assume that my old score is still viable for two years and if I want to write again for next year I have to write by September 2008? Thanks, -Tyler

Thanks, -Tyler I believe The University of Manitoba considers MCAT's to be viable for 4 years, although you may want to check this on the applicant bulletin. I think it is safe to assume that to apply next year, the latest MCAT they would accept is September 2008. 31R is still a very good score. Surprised you weren't even waitlisted. tyler582
Ya, I really dont understand. 2 years in a row now, I guess I really suck at interviews. I did a lot of preparing for it this year too .

I suggest meeting with Beth to get your feedback soon. Next year make sure to sign up for the mock MMI probably arranged by the class of 2012. I participated in it this year and it must have helped me get early acceptance with only a 31Q MCAT.
roycer
I didn't do the mock MMIs (scheduling conflict that day), and I got in with a 29Q, but I practiced a ton reading extra material and MMI questions. It was great building on Beth's feedback from last year. Good luck! Oh what I meant was that I was able to get first-round acceptance with an MCAT only slightly higher than you aranndil. That must have meant I did well on the MMI, and the mock MMI certainly helped me with it.
