njell Posted July 1, 2008 Report Share Posted July 1, 2008 Hello people I'm a newbie trying to aim for dent school... Okay so the big Q for me now is how schools calc the GPA? Considering mainly UWO UofT Mcgill and UBC. I found UWO and UBC use numerical% instead of the GPA thing. So i go to UofT right now and UofT on our transcript we both have the numerical% score and GPA score next to it as well. So for UWO and UBC my numerical scores will be added up and averaged instead of my GPA (considering all 0.5 and 1.0 credits)? Also UofT and Mcgill uses the OMSAS conversion to convert my numerical% into a GPA and they use that..right?? I'm so much in the beginning of everything and hope for some answers.
