dizzle
My impression is that you won't make the interview rounds unless you score at least Q? What I'm wondering in specific is if there is even a chance for an individual who scored 13+, 13+, 13+ P? Or would you have to just rewrite completely? I am saying 'Q' with reference in particular to non-SWOMEN applicants. -d
crush
sorry buddy- I haven't heard of anyone who is let through like that. At Western, the cut-offs tend to be pretty strict. The only Ontario school who doesn't have a firm cut-off (that looks at the MCAT) I believe is U of T, where your application will be flagged if you fall below but it doesn't count you out of the running if you have an otherwise strong application. Lots of people re-write the MCAT and improve on their score. It's not the end of the world.
ploughboy
Cut-offs are called cut-offs for a reason. Even with those spectacular numeric scores you're SOL unless you re-write or UWO's WS cut-off drops this cycle. Sorry.
danceprincess88
The MD/PhD program has been known to waive cutoffs but if you weren't already interested in that path I wouldn't suggest it as a way to get around the cutoffs.
