DDS28
Hello, I'm looking for CDA soaps (a pack of six is enough) and the official carving tools that come with it (marker, ruler, and blade). Please PM ASAP, thanks .
Mare
You can get the official set of practice materials and a practice test/instruction booklet online from the CDA website. I think it was about $75 for the full set, or 6 soaps for $36 when I bought mine. Hopefully someone else can sell you their extra stuff a bit cheaper. I think having a new blade and new soap might be beneficial to practice with as the DAT gets closer though. I practiced a bit on other materials (like chalk) but definitely wouldn't recommend doing that because you have to get used to the official soap! Good luck! CDAInterviewBook
Rock the DAT used to sell a soap which while wasn't official CDA soap was the correct dimensions and similar consistency. Personally I think $5/ CDA soap is a bit much, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Don't be shy spending money in the application process cause you'll be shelling out way more once you get in. _________________________________________________________________ Interview prep books available: cdainterviewbook@hotmail.com
