Guest melNB
has anyone recently talked to mac?
Guest heho
it says on the omsas site to deal with those types of things "in a timely matter". There is no real due date for references. I would just ask him/her to write me another and send it off.
Guest madison2001
Canada Post (or OMSAS) also lost one of my reference letters. I called Mac on October 31st and was told not to worry. That I should get the letter sent in ASAP but that it wouldn't affect my application as reference letters weren't really in my control. So I wouldn't worry too much
Guest MacMD
Ditto, I wouldn't worry. Mac isn't out to get anyone and these things happen. One way of avoiding this problem is to send all leters via "guaranteed" mail, where the receiving party has to sign for it, and thus enabling it to be tracked. This will certainly avail you from any responsibility.

Guest MDWannabe
Registered mail is a good way to go, as it will save you some sleepless nights (I say from experience). I never did it this way, and the result is that I wasn't sure until the 11th hour about some of my application, and later CaRMs, references.
