The Mac site says it doesn't offer electives in family med (to non-Mac students) and ROMP only supports Ontario med students. Seems like there are quite a few roadblocks to setting anything up. I am beginning clerkship in March through the U of Calgary. I was hoping to do something in the Brant county (Ontario) area but even the hospital there only takes Ontario students... any suggestions? Your CV can still state that you did an elective in Hamilton. Even students from other Ontario med schools have difficulties setting up electives in family at Mac.
