Arnie
Getting into UofT is a clean-cut process. There's not really much subjectivity involved. Pass cut-offs --> interview --> decision made. GPA = 60%, DAT= 10%, interview (invited for one provided the previous two are above the cutoff) = 30%. If you have a 3.9+, and 21AA+, then yeah, getting into UofT is no problem. (Or at least it shouldn't be unless you bomb the interview). So if you've been keeping on top of things since Day 1, it's not hard to get into. If you've been goofing off, have a 3.5 GPA, 16AA, then yes, it is hard to get into UofT. You have a 3.75, which unless I'm wrong is still above the usual cut-off that they use for the GPA. It's a little on the low side (no offence), so you'll need to have a spectacular DAT score. So get prepping for November right now. That should land you an invite. Once you get the invite, prep with everything you can. Mini-courses, mock interviews, career services, etc. Ultimately, it's doable, but the 3.75 makes it an uphill battle. Gluck, and go prep for the DAT.
