simba
Does anyone know if it's all right to take a year off? I just finished my undergrad but haven't applied to dentistry because I haven't written the DAT. I will be writing the DAT this November. Thanks
ckmonster
i think it all depends on what you want to do! What do you plan to do in that year? If you take the November DAT you can still apply for the 2009 cycle!
simba
I was planning on finding some kind of work and going to school part-time (so as to complete some prerequisite courses for some American schools).
Arnie
Does anyone know if it's all right to take a year off? I just finished my undergrad but haven't applied to dentistry because I haven't written the DAT. I will be writing the DAT this November. Thanks It's perfectly fine-- nothing to worry about. I had completed my degree when I applied, took a year off to take care of some personal stuff. Didn't tarnish my application in any way. Just make sure you have the pre-reqs, good grades and good DAT scores.
lpcustom
You can do anything you want, as long as you can rationally justify it, just like anything.
