Recent Change in Reading Comprehension Format?

Hello,

 

I am writing the DAT in November for the first time.

My strategy is to spend 5-6 min skimming passage (highlighting subject topics / keywords).....

 

Is there anyone who has recently take DAT (within last year) who can tell me if majority of questions are still based on facts - and less on overall ideas / perspective?

 

I have recently read on SDN that RC has been leaning more towards Trends/persepctive questions to eliminate people answering questions without having to "comprehend" what they are reading?

 

Any insight from people who have recently written DAT would be helpful

How recent are these rumoured changes? like since the last writing session in February 2008?

Or are you wanting to know the experiences of American DAT test takers?

 

I wrote the American in August, and I remember there being very few tone questions. Maybe like 3? or 4? I don't know.
