nitroblu
I know this will seem EXTREMELY stupid of me to ask this, but I'm trying to choose a proper course load for my upcoming spring semester that will allow me to maintain my GPA while keeping in mind dental school admission requirements. The dental schools I'm applying for all require 6-8 semester-hours of a physics course with lab component, and 6-8 hours of English. I just wanted to know what exactly 8 semester hours is equivalent to? Does it literally just mean 8 hours? I've only taken one semester of physics so far, which had 36 hours of lecture, 24 hours of tutorials, and 15 hours of labs. I am currently taking one semester of English, which will total to 24 hours of lecture. So would the one semester of physics I have taken and the one semester of English I am taking now be sufficient to meet the "6-8 semester-hours" requirement? coreascott
I'm guessing 1 semester hour is equivalent to 1 credit for the course. So 6-8 semester hour of English translates into 6-8 credits English
