Elective - UofT

Hello everyone,

 

So I know that there is a special place on this forum about lodging, but the thread seems to be completely dead (last message in 2008...). So I'm trying here . I am starting an elective in Toronto at the Sick Kids at the beginning of April and am staying for 4 weeks in toronto. i wondered if anyone had tips or advices for finding a cheap and appropriate place for lodging. Any advices would be very much appreciated (please message me).

I really have no experience with short-term housing in Toronto, though I've lived in Toronto for all of my undergrad. I think that craigslist should be your best bet. And maybe http://www.housing.utoronto.ca/ And maybe ask the admin people at UofT about short-term housing/dorms. Others can correct me if I'm wrong.

 

If your lodging requires bussing/TTCing to Sickkids, you will have to spend about $100 extra on a metropass per month. Or you can ride a bike.
