rmorelan
Whats the deal with dropping courses....how do med schools deal with that Depends on the school - well discussed topic on the forum, you can search for it and find quite a bit. Overall it is probably better to lose a course your are doing badly in than to keep it, but there are consequences for many schools. Most schools either require or at least encourage 5.0 full courses per academic year. Beware that schools that take your best of X years generally don't count years with less than 5.0 courses, and you will lose out on Toronto's "drop a course" policy in cGPA calculations for that year - which makes sense as you already dropped one Which year are you in at Guelph by the way?
