medgoal
So in our practice sessions, we have been starting our answers like "So this question is asking..." I've come to thinking though. Is that really good practice? Should we just begin answering the question? Would an interviewer be bored of hearing the question repeated? And is it wasting your time? Anyone who wants to provide some insight, it'd be appreciated!

Kathryn
I do that in any kind of interview if I'm not 100% sure what the question is asking. I don't think there's anything wrong with clarification because you don't want to just ramble for eight minutes and end up missing the point of the question. Anyway, it must be a good practice because I've never interviewed for a job and not gotten an offer afterwards.
