Added Seats in 2011?

Does anyone know

a) if new medical school seats will be added?

if there will be new seats, how many will go to Toronto?

c) if know one knows for sure (which I am pretty sure is the case), does anyone care to speculate?

The provincial government just gave most if not all medical schools in the province funds to open up new spots. The exact number of spots going to UofT escapes me at the moment. But I think it was between 10-20. This is for the class starting in Sept (1T3s).

 

Beyond this next class it is anyone’s guess what will happen.

The provincial government just announced within the past couple of weeks that they were funding extra seats at 5/6 medical schools in Ontario for Sept. '10. I know Ottawa and NOSM are two of the schools, but I haven't heard if UofT is one of the 5.
