It's my first (and hopefully only ) time applying to meds and I'm wondering what I should be doing at this point (for the 09-10 cycle). Did the MCAT last summer, so that is all out of the way. From what I understand, applications are available sometime around mid-July? I've spoken briefly to two references who have said they'd be happy to write, though I haven't given them any sort of deadline. Other than that, is there anything I should be doing? Dont drop any of your EC's though because if you are unsuccessful in your first try, you can try again next year. If you apply to American schools, apply early.
