Hi, I'm from Ontario, and had never really thought about UBC as an option until just recently, although I'm a little unsure as to whether or not I would be competitive there at all due to my pretty weak start to university. My most recent 60 credits would average out to about 86%, but my overall university average is only around a 78. I have read that an average less than 80 was unlikely to receive an interview for out of province applicants, I just wasn't sure which one (or maybe it's referring to both) they were talking about- any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately if your school awards letter grades, then you have to take the lowest grade from that bracket..say A+ = 90-100...then the 95% A+ you got is only considered to be 90.

With 78 overall you still have a shot..if you have great non-AQ.
