equus
I'm currently in the International Baccalaureate Program in high school, and I want to become a family doctor eventually. McMaster's Health Sciences program requires at least a 90% OSSD average and/or a 36 in IB marks. If I happen to get a high OSSD average (like 95+) but for some reason did badly on my IB courses and got below a 36 in total, would McMaster still consider me for the Health Sciences program? Or vice versa, if I do extremely well in IB but not in OSSD?
japlanet
In general, at least back when I was applying to undergrad (wow, that was a long time ago now!), the policy was to first consider your OSSD marks, and, if that wasn't good enough for admission, they'd look at your IB diploma and let you in on that if it was better. But each school has a different policy; a quick phone call to the admissions office will settle it once and for all.
