Housing on Hamilton Campus

No you can't apply to residence as a medical student. The best bet, if you want to live close to campus, is to find housing in the Westdale area.

Does anyone have any insight as to whether or not Camelot Towers is a good place to live? Its really close to campus (981/1001 Main St W).

I'm not familiar with the Hamilton area so any input would be great!

Camelot Towers is pretty sketchy; I wouldn't live there. Lots of students do, though.

There are quite a few apartment buildings at the Main and Whitney intersection. I don't know the exact contact details, but if you're in Hamilton it would be very easy to go from building to building to check them out. My friends lived in a pretty sweet place in that area, when they come on MSN I can ask which building it was exactly.

I went to Mac for my undergrad and these condos were built 2 years ago (they are like apartment style suites). My friends lived in them for the last two years, and now I am going there since we can't live on campus anymore. They are really nice and they are about a 10 minute walk from Mac (like a 1 minute drive)...and the buses go right by there. The above link has the prices for the different types of suites and all the extras that you can get.

http://www.homestead.com offers plenty of apartments around McMaster and the rest of Hamilton. None of them are right near the campus but a very short bus ride away.
