But I can't be the only one from Ottawa trying to find a deal on this course. I'm sure someone has taken the course and has something to say about where/when they took it. Anyway, thanks again.

 

Well, that's a pretty standard price from what I've seen, especially from Red Cross or SJA (I re-cert my First Aid/ CPR every year for work & I am getting my CPR - HCP instructor this year). Maybe keep calling those places on your list and see if you can get a deal at one of them.

 

That being said, ~100 for CPR - HCP isn't nearly as bad as your med school tuition

For those of you who have already done the CPR course, do they give you the certificate on the same day or do they mail it to you! It's kinda urgent because I'll be traveling the very next day! Thanks!

Depends on where you do it, but I've always gotten mine at the end of the course (once they mark your test, to see if you passed).

Just wondering if anyone can confirm if this course will suffice and if anyone has already taken this one: http://www.sja.ca/Ontario/Training/Pages/MississaugaCPRLevelB.aspx

 

It says level B in the link but when you go to the page it is Level C CPR with the option of HCP.

All they require is CPR HCP course....so I think this course is ok to take.......
