national Posted June 2, 2009 Report Share Posted June 2, 2009 wondering if anyone has any recommendations for sites/preceptors through NOSM. interested in rural/remote family med elective (as opposed to sudbury or thunder bay) with someone who does emerg/procedures/obs/etc (ie. the quintessential rural doc who does it all) the electives website doesn't really provide much detail on the different sites, just gives a list of town names, which is of limited use. You will be with many different docs there, so you can get the feel from many different angles. They had a GP-surgeon, GP-anesthesiologist, some low risk ob, c-scopes, emerg, etc.. plus a wonderful city with a giant goose! If you want specific names, PM me, but I don't think it will matter.
