One year MSc

Recommended Posts

Why not write off to the admissions of one med school you would like to apply to and ask the question directly. I would expect that within 72 hours you will receive a direct reply to your question. Perhaps you should give them more information about the degree you are considering, from which university, etc.

Is there any disadvantages of doing a one year Clinical MSc compared to a two year MSc if I'm planning to apply to med school? Do med schools accept 1 year Clinical MSc?

I think it depends on what you're trying to get out of your MSc... If you're looking for research/publications etc. then chances are the 1 year clinical MSc isn't going to do it for you... However, if its clinical experience, then go for it... Althought if it is a course based MSc, then they may look at your marks in more detail.

I don't think there is any 'disadvantage' to doing one MSc over another.
