JTG Posted June 5, 2009 Report Share Posted June 5, 2009 Does anyone know if Med 2013 students are required to be in Ottawa for any events prior to Sept 1st. The information package said registration was Sept 8th, but I have heard that there are mandatory orientation events prior to this. Need to know because it affects when to start a lease....... Katdb Posted June 6, 2009 Report Share Posted June 6, 2009 Wouldn't the office still know by now when any mandatory event was by now I would take any date the UOttawa states (even if it's official) with a grain of salt. We ran into huge problems this year when they moved the 2nd year curriculum around to accomodate the change in the 1st year curriculum, so instead of ending Dec 12th, we finished Dec 19th. They had even published the Dec 12th finish on their official schedule of dates (calendar), and then changed it on us. For this reason, if you're ever trying to plan something around Uottawa dates, keep everything they tell you in writing!!!!!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
