vinod2222
Hello Guys this is my first post. I am Going to get my Bachelor of science 3 year degree from The University of Windsor. I am planning to do my Pharmacy technician degree from this September or january of next year from a college,I wanted to get some experience in pharmaceutical industry as I am planning to get into Pharmacy or Nursing school after I get my permanent residence in Canada. Would a bachelors degree help me in getting an admission into nursing school? What grades would they be needing? do They require high grades like in med school as i have decent grades in my undergrad!! Please give me your valuable advice as it would help me plan my career accordingly!!
CalvinOak
hey why don't you try getting into u windsor nursing school. i'm guessing they will award 20 full courses toward your second major (nursing) "(a) Students with one general degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.C.S., B.Math., B.M.A.): • may count a maximum of twenty courses toward a second general degree in a different area of study*."---- from uwindsor website. though you may have to surrender your BSc degree for nursing degree (because it counts as BSc too and you can't do a second degree from the same faculty program). or simply don't apply to graduate from BSc you are in , take courses appropriate to nursing degree, apply for nursing degree in "returning student application/change of program" via SIS.
