Prereq question

Hello, I have a quick question. I have only taken 1 english course and I know the alberta med schools require a full year worth of english to be accepted. I am wondering does this prereq have to be met before acceptance or could it be met during the summer before med school starts in the fall. Thanks in advance

You can't do it over the summer, but you can do it during the year of application. I.e. if you applied this fall, you could still do it this fall or next spring.
