LivetoDance
Is the 10 minute break really 10 minutes? I noticed the last two times I wrote that when the ten minutes were up the title page for the next section came up, but the clock didn't start. So technically, couldn't you take longer than 10minutes on the break?
keith_015
Technically true. They can't expect you to read the title page during a break. I am sure though (I forgot to look), but there is probably a clock on the title page screen for each section. So you could essentially count that towards having an extended break. LivetoDance
You have to press OK on the title page before the clock starts. I think I have found a loop-hole! PS-Read your private messages Keith
MCATStrategy
You're break isn't strictly timed. You can take shorter or longer. The test won't start until you click the button for the section to begin. Gitanjali
the break is a huge loophole...last year when I w rote the MCAT, I went on a 20 min long break coz the washroom at the testcentre had a huge lineup...and I still didnt lost any time..I wonder how much we an stretch the envelope though:p
plasticookies
Oh wow...I thought this was just a glitch in the practice tests, but apparently not! Thanks for the heads up XD
a41
You're break isn't strictly timed. Haha you don't see this mistake often. Usually people write 'your' instead of 'you're', not the other way around.
