Anyone taken the MCAT at Dewey College?

Hi.

Was just wondering if anyone here has taken the MCAT at Dewey College (near the Toronto airport) this summer. What were your impressions? How many test takers were there, and was it well organized/quiet?

Thanks in advance.

I would appreciate any feedback on this test centre as well....

I just found a September 12th spot open and grabbed it....

It not much closer to me than the Buffalo MCAT was going to be if any but it doesn't involve crossing the border which is one unknown that's nice not to deal with...

$55.00 U.S. to change locations was steep too... so just wondering if anyone knew what the testing centre was like...

How are the computers set up (cubicles or on a table) and how many people?

Thanks for your help.

Haha, I think I found out what it looks like....

To the OP, if you're still looking, check out this website and play the video at the top right....

about 5-10 seconds in, it shows a shot of what I can almost guarantee will be your testing room.... which doesn't look half bad....

So I wrote here on August 14th, and my testing location was nothing like the one shown in the Yellowpages video. I think they might have multiple rooms though.

The place itself was so-so. The test started over an hour late for me since their sign-in procedure took a long time. The computers were set up in various small rooms on tables. I was in a small room with about 10 computers that was probably the size of my bedroom. In total, there were probably about 50 people there, but they were separated into various small rooms, or to the sides of walls in a larger room. It was hot outside and also very hot in the testing room (no air conditioning), and there was some construction noise outside of my room throughout most of the test. They gave you scrap paper (not whiteboards), some pencils, and some big industrial headphones/earmuffs.

That being said, I still thought it was fairly easy to focus on the test. There weren't that many distractions, etc. and apart from the construction once in a while, the room was very quiet. I only had to wait about 30 secs to get in and out of the room during breaks and the staff were very friendly.
