Mater
Hey, I just needed a placed to let my thoughts out. I'm just getting anxious for the score coming out this Tuesday. Didn't feel it went well and I studied a lot although it is hard to study as a Master's student oh well. Just wanna see it get it over with to start studying again sadly:(

premed11
Thanks guys, it was my 3rd time writing it. Going from a 34Q to a 28R to 35Q is just exhausting. I am just glad that I now have a chance at the Ontario schools, which is something I wasn't expecting from these 3rd scores (was gonna apply to the US instead). I am really glad it worked out for you; it must have been so disheartening to go from the first score to the second. I admire the courage you had to give it another go!! I am writing it for my first time in Sept and I really hope I don't have to do it more than once. The whole process is so exhausting; I can't believe I would be stressed out walking into a university exam when something like this monster looms around the corner. lol Good luck to everyone writing it this month and next, and congratulations once again PreMed11!! I admire your perseverance. I just got my first scores back from the July 02 sitting. A 29R ... But seeing this post, you've motivated me even more to keep going. premed11
Thanks. Don't let that 1 score discourage you. There is a LOT of luck involved in this test. First time, I got a 14 in Bio which i knew i got lucky with since i didn't score higher than 12 on my practice tests. Second time I dropped by 4 in bio and 3 in PS, which once again I thought was due to bad luck. This time around, I actually didn't bother to focus on VR since I was trying to get the highest overall score possible (US schools don't have strict cutoffs). Guess what, I get an 11 this time around which was a complete shock. I scored an 8 and a 9 the previous 2 times. I am so glad that I am back in the running for the Ontario schools. I have already applied twice but didn't receive any interviews. But with my latest scores and my GPA, I should be able to get interviews at Queens and Western (as long as the cutoffs don't change) Good luck to both you and touchthesky. If things don't go well the first time around, let it piss you off. It only motivates you more.

I love that last statement - "if things don't go well the first time around, let it piss you off. It only motivates you more." It reminds me of my transition from first to second year at U of T LOL!!
