Dampy
To Quote Law: "All of this information (i.e. weighting formulas, whether or not they consider years with less than a full course load, what a full course load is, cutoffs that schools post for interviews, etc...) can be found on the schools' websites. If you cannot locate a medical school's website, you might want to consider going into another profession." Kudos on the signature btw, seeing as it's there to make you unique from everyone else on the forums.
m1428
I read all of jamcurl's posts (4). Why I can't I help but think jamcurl= troll? or just a kid in grade nine who just doesn't know any better? http://www.43things.com/person/jamcurl jamcurl: "I want to become a doctor! It is my dream, sometimes it is the only thing I can think about. I am 14 and it is my dream! I really want to become a doctor and I WILL become a doctor!" Aug 29, 2008, 07:23PM PDT Please tell me you typed that wrong. If I was to do a BscNI would have a job. But would I have the prereqs? Weigh the pros and cons. I am a high school student who IS going to become a doctor. I am a high school student and I want to become a doctor(No I WILL become a doctor! ) I understand that Medical school is very competitive. So if I had a BScN, I would already have a good job, in HEALTH CARE HELPING PEOPLE! So, assuming that you are 15 and in grade nine/ten, you still have at least 7/6 years until you can apply for med. Med school prerequisites could be gone by then, or maybe the world would have ended in 7 years. Who knows.

tooty
what bothers me the most is that this kid knows this question has been answered many times over on this forum, yet he still asks people to lay it out for him. as if the information in this forum isn't spoonfed enough. gtfo. tooty
i swear if my patients, young or old, show the same kind of lazy attitude, i'd knock on them just the same. i have zero patience or respect for this kind of attitude. but i'm a tough love kind'a guy. we should of course help the kid, but holy ****ing christ man.. edit: i suppose there's a small chance that the guy is a troll. if that's the case, i guess he owned us all..
