dentss
hey guys...i need advice regarding application to US dental schools. I know its kinda late but i submitted my aadsas app yesterday applying to NYU, BU and Case. My gpa is between 3.72-3.75 and my DAT scores are: RC; 19 Bio: 19 Chem:20 TS:19 AA:19 PAT: 17 Carving: 5 Anyway, I wanted to know if there're other schools i should add at this time. I was considering Nova but considering that it is august...would it make sense?
Contach
what's wrong with applying to nova in august? why is nova different from bu, nyu and case? (i always thought case's application cycle got started much earlier than any of these other schools) i think it all comes down to how much you value your money and how badly you want to get in. If you have lots of money and see applying as an investment, then apply everywhere (in this case i recommend you apply to any private school in the USA where international student acceptances are frequent -i think there are about 12 of them) and you never know, you may get lucky. dentss
well i dont have a lot more that i can spend ...so given that, are there a few out of those 12 that would be worth applying given the low dats? thanks
juba
I wouldn't say that your dats are exactly low. Just carving and you can still get in with that:)

dentss
guys can anyone suggest any other universities...would be a great help....thanks
PintApples
Try Temple U. Their program is cheap (even for international students) and they don't discriminate between resident and out of state applicants.
