turbo
Hey everyone, I dont have the two life science courses required becuase my degree didnt really deal with anything like that. How strict are they will courses that can be considered equivalent? I DO have two course called biogeography and desert ecosystems which deal with a lot of the same stuff a zoology class or evolutionary biology class would. Is there any chance I can get those to count towards the life science credits? I've tried emailing the school but they take FOREVER to get back so i figured the opinion here might give me clues while I wait for them. thanks ahead of time
future_doc
I think the Rule of UofT is not to reply, I've been w ating for more than a month, whereas UWO will reply w/i 48 hours. Upgrade your email attempt and write directly to ltaylor admission officor, you are given the full name and email address. And if you do not receive a reply in a timely manner, phone and speak to the admissions officer, they cannot duck you if you are persistent. Microbiodude
I think its dependent on which department it falls under in your school. If its course code is something like Geography or Earth Sciences 201 then it won't count, but if its Biology 201 then yes. Of course, safest bet is to check with the U of T med admissions office.
