randommm
for my essay, I used a personal anecdote involving an incident with my mom and I when i was young. It had a big effect on me and my choice to pursue medicine. But I'm not sure how to add a verifier for this...would it be my mom? Is it good/acceptable to use personal anecdotes in the first place? (since people can just make these up) Thanks in advance!

I started my essay off recollecting my petrifying fear of the dark. Whatever works.
ontariostudent
I don't think you need a verifier for random life things. I put in a random life thing and didn't put one and I got accepted! Check with them if you're not sure.

Carefree
I used a parent as a verifier for such a life experience and I was also accepted. I think you should be fine if you choose to do that.
