Guest rpuff
So I know you are eligible for Jason Lang as a medical student granted that you haven't won it more than 3 times but I just had a question as to how you would qualify as U of A is pass fail (though you do get percentages on the block exams). I just finished third year so I have one more chance to win Jason Lang but this year I got a Louise McKinney award so that I'm ineligible now. Anyone familiar with the standards? It's a 3.2 in undergrad but I don't know how that translates in med school. thanks!
juicyprunes
Even though classes are pass/fail on your transcript, you still get marks for each block and those are kept track of internally for ranking purposes. This ranking is then used to determine who gets the Jason Lang (and other stuff).
