c17h
I've heard that it's good to write LOIs (or letter of intent/letter of interest) to certain schools at certain times. I was wondering if anyone has experience in this area and could share their experience. For example, is it a good idea to write a LOI before being granted an interview, in hopes that the LOI will help you get an interview? Or write it after the interview, in hopes that it will help you get an acceptance? What if your application is "on hold"? Do you write a LOI so that they can identify your interest as they're reviewing your application? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks so much!
