watermelon7
hey i was just wondering if anyone who currently lives in saskatoon could comment on how this works (speed, limits etc etc) http://www.ito.gov.sk.ca/wireless-internet/ just curious as to whether i will need to get my own internet from rogers or something when i move there thanks
farmgl
The free wireless is only available in downtown areas. I do recieve the signal where I live but its weak and I find it very slow. You will need to sign up for hi speed internet, Sasktel usually has a student deal where its half price for 6 months if you self install so it works out to be about $25 a month. Hope this helps. Meditopia
Shaw has the cheapest high-speed internet. Cost is less than $20 and they provide free installation. Student rates are only available during school month's unless you take summer classes which I assume you wont. Main negative is the internet slows down sometimes. Overall I think they are good and will stick with them for next year. Hope this helps!
