beng
Did any fellow rejected applicants have the sense to ask during the feedback session what the lowest admitted/waitlisted score was? I know my score, but I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. Speculation is welcome too!
patrick83
Its my understanding the accepted score ranges differ from province to province. I'm not sure for the NS pool (which is the one I'd like to know most)... but I was told my score (very high 60's) would have been "good enough" had I been from NB. ( I'm 99% sure she said for admission not waitlist but am second guessing myself now) I remember being quite surprised as I thought the NB competition would almost always be steeper given the fewer seats. Overall, I think the scores went down this year because they removed the reference letters...I always assumed this was a pretty high scoring area for everyone (why it was removed) I'd also be really curious if anyone got the NS numbers! w8kg6
I was rejected from the class of 2012 with scores ranging from 58 to 64 (3.6 Assessment GPA and 28S MCAT that application cycle). I'm in the NB pool, and don't know my scores for the most recent cycle yet.
donoharm
For the NS pool, those on the waitlist had scores clustering around 70 and were ranked by interview score (better interview = better waitlist). For the NS applicants who were accepted, the scores ranged from 70 to 80.
